FIVE MILES.
ONE IMPORTANT CAUSE
Saturday, August 15, 2026
ON AUGUST 15, I'LL BE PADDLING THE CAPE COD BAY CHALLENGE IN SUPPORT OF CHRISTOPHER'S HAVEN.
Throughout the campaign, Black Bag Coffee Club will donate $5 from every bag of coffee sold. You can also support the challenge directly through my fundraising page.
The 2026 CCBC-Lite route is approximately five miles along the South River, finishing near Levitate Surf Shop in Marshfield.
Why am i doing this
Christopher's Haven provides supportive housing for families whose children are receiving cancer treatment in Boston, allowing them to stay together while their child receives lifesaving care.
As a dad, it's difficult to imagine what those families are going through. If I can turn something I love into meaningful support for them, then it's a challenge worth taking on.
While five miles isn't an expedition, it represents an important milestone in my own journey. Over the past year, stand-up paddleboarding has become a passion of mine and this event is the first step towards tackling increasingly challenging open-water paddles.
Throughout the campaign (July-Aug), Black Bag Coffee Club will donate $5 from every bag sold, and if you'd like to contribute even more, you can make a direct donation through my fundraising page. Every dollar goes directly to Christopher's Haven.
Thank you for helping turn a personal challenge into support for families who need it most.
Help us reach the goal
Black Bag Coffee Club fundraising goal: $2,500
Every donation, every bag purchased, and every share helps us get there.
