Christopher's Haven provides supportive housing for families whose children are receiving cancer treatment in Boston, allowing them to stay together while their child receives lifesaving care.

As a dad, it's difficult to imagine what those families are going through. If I can turn something I love into meaningful support for them, then it's a challenge worth taking on.

While five miles isn't an expedition, it represents an important milestone in my own journey. Over the past year, stand-up paddleboarding has become a passion of mine and this event is the first step towards tackling increasingly challenging open-water paddles.

Throughout the campaign (July-Aug), Black Bag Coffee Club will donate $5 from every bag sold, and if you'd like to contribute even more, you can make a direct donation through my fundraising page. Every dollar goes directly to Christopher's Haven.
